The apartment is located in the fifth district, near its edge on Balaton Street, 600 meters from the Hungarian Parliament.

The decision to build the parliament building was made after the unification of Buda and Pest in 1873. The competition was won by neo-Gothic fan Imre Steindl. The site was selected on the eastern bank of the Danube between the first two permanent bridges in Budapest - the Széchenyi Chain Bridge and the Margit Bridge.

It is best to view the building from the other side of the Danube, from Gellert Hill, or from the Fisherman's Bastion in Buda Castle, for example, the view is really beautiful.

A bit of details about Parliament: The Parliament building is the third largest parliament building on the world. It attracts your attention from almost all points of the river. The parliament building has a length of 268 m and a width of 123 m, it has 691 rooms. The length of all the stairs together is about 20 kilometers. The most impressive is the front staircase. The height of the central dome reaches 96 meters. The building has 27 entrance gates.
