The apartment is located in „ Palace quarter”  of Budapest, which is part of the 8th district of Budapest, and is located about 15 minutes from the Danube.

Despite the ancient history of this area, it was washed away by the Danube spring flood in 1831, and the entire architecture of the palace quarter begins approximately from this date.

 

The house in which the apartment is located famous for the fact, that Theodor von Karman lived there, a theoretician, a mechanic who made a great contribution to the development of the theoretical foundations of aircraft engineering and rocket science, whose contribution to the theory of aerodynamics is hard to overestimate, whose name is written in golden letters in the history of NASA .

The palace district of Budapest is completely a monument of Hungarian architecture of the 19th century, here at every step you can meet historic buildings and stunning aristocratic palaces, made in different styles. This is the center of Budapest and you are within steps to reach other interesting places.

 

All the famous and popular places are only walking distance included the Buda Castle, Synagogue, Deak Square, Saint Stephen’s Basilica and Szimpla Kert, one of the most famous ruin pub it is only 10 minute away from the apartment.
